Porto Ruby of the Sandeman company is the most traditional wine of the category, still produced with the ancient original recipe of 1790 by George Sandeman.

It comes from grapes grown in the Douro, harvested exclusively by hand, when they have reached perfect ripeness. The result is a very pleasant and extremely versatile wine, perfect both as a meditation wine and in combination with blue cheeses and desserts. A Port that amazes for its great ability to preserve the special characteristics for a long time, which undoubtedly represents a timeless classic.

It shines in its ruby red color, with light purple reflections. The nose has great intensity, with fruity aromas of blueberries, blackberries and cherries, followed by floral scents of violet water and iris, finely blended with vanilla notes and light toasted hints. On the palate it is balanced, rich and round, with countless hints of dried plum and flowers.

Perfect in combination with blue cheeses, it is excellent as an accompaniment to dry pastries, chocolate desserts, zabaglione and tarts with fresh red berry fruit. Also pleasant as a meditation win
